These sample images provide the ideological foundation for most of my work from the early 90s' to the present. It draws on my earliest influences from afro American photographers who ushered in a renaissance of afro centric cultural identity.

My goal in this series was to capture simple unobtrusive images of afro Americans and other ethnicities of color in a variety of social and cultural contexts.
